Privacy, terms, refunds and image rights. All four in one place.

This site is run by Adil Bhatti, trading as Studio Bhatti, a product of Alpha Leonis Production Studio LLC, Manalapan, New Jersey.
Only what you send me. If you text or email, I have your name, your number or address, and whatever you tell me about the job. If you book, I also have the location and date of the shoot.
There are no accounts on this site and no login. Nothing is collected unless you choose to contact me.
Your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches me or this website.
I do not sell your information, I do not share it for advertising, and I do not add you to a mailing list.
Business records are kept for seven years, because tax rules require it. Photographs are kept indefinitely as part of my archive unless you ask me in writing to delete them.
Email Adil@StudioBhatti.com at any time to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, to have your photographs deleted from my archive, or to ask that your images never appear in my portfolio.
Requests are answered within thirty days. Records I am legally required to keep for tax purposes cannot be deleted before the seven years are up.
These terms apply to every booking. Paying a deposit means you accept them.
Equipment fails and people fall ill. If something on my side prevents delivery, my liability is limited to refunding what you have paid. I am not responsible for losses beyond that, such as a delayed listing or a missed deadline.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of New Jersey.
Acceptance. Payment of the deposit confirms that you have read and accepted these terms, including the non-refundable deposit, the rescheduling notice periods, and the no refund after delivery policy. This line also appears on every quote and every invoice.
Photography is a service. The time is spent whether or not the result is to your taste, so the policy below is firm. It is written out fully so nothing is a surprise.

A full licence to use your images anywhere you like, for as long as you like, with no expiry and no further fee. That covers your website, social media, marketplace listings, printed menus, brochures, paid advertising and press.
Copyright. This is standard across the industry and it is what allows the images to appear in my portfolio. It does not limit anything you want to do with them.
Some images may appear on this site or on social media. If you would rather they did not, tell me in writing and they will not. Photographs taken inside a private home are never published without permission being asked first.
Every photograph on this website is copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced, downloaded or used for any purpose, including training an artificial intelligence model, without written permission. Public images are compressed previews carrying a visible mark and embedded copyright information. Client galleries are delivered clean, at full resolution, with no mark of any kind.
Watches, jewelry and products shipped in are photographed and returned insured in their original packaging. Condition is recorded on arrival and again before return. Ship insured for the full value, because carrier limits are low and the carrier's cover is what applies while an item is in transit.
One note. I am a photographer, not a lawyer. These terms are written to be clear and fair rather than to be clever. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
